Chinese Marinated Pig Intestine

Pig intestine is one of the fascinating foods in Chinese cuisine. Its unusual taste can be described as meaty and porky, the texture is tender and fatty.

The pork intestines can be stewed with loads of herbs and spices, deep-fried or braised in soya sauces.

They are so savory, so delicious, full of flavor that you would definitely love and forget about your own belly.



How to prepare

•Soaking in Hot Water: Soak the whole packet in 100℃ Hot Water for 20 minutes.

•Microwave: After thawing, remove the packing and place the pig intestine with sauce on a suitable dish. Then microwave (800W) for 3 minutes.

•Air Fry: After thawing, remove the packing. Pre-heat the fryer to 180℃, fry the pig intestine for 5 minutes. Depends on personal taste, fry the intestine for few more minutes.

***Due to high fat content, the pig intestine will become char easily, checking the progress during frying is recommended.***
